About the Role

Black Lemonade is hiring part-time site coordinators for our middle school, after school program.
Essential Functions:
M-F 3:45pm- 6:15pm with additional hours added as needed
Model the Black Lemonade core values
Follow Black Lemonade curriculum
Ensure safe and risk free environment at all times while meeting the individual needs of the participants
Act as a role model to students at all times
Exhibit good judgment, enthusiasm for the activities and strong awareness of safety
Maintain the general health, happiness and safety of the students assigned to him/her
Know, enforce, and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the program
Know where all students are at all times and utilize the buddy system and frequent head counts to ensure students are always accounted for, especially during free time
Assist with controlling students and group to ensure each student is safe and deal with discipline problems based on given guidelines, while keeping the Program Director informed of all concerns
Develop and Follow the weekly-prepared schedule to ensure that all students participate in all activities; fill free time with activities appropriate for the group; participate and lead songs, games and other activities
Participate actively and assist in leading in opening and closing ceremonies daily and complete other duties as assigned
Greet and communicate with parents through student recognition or notes about experiences
Submit reports, on time, as required
Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Provide guidance to any volunteers or interns
Record and or document daily activities for social media postings


  • Willing to undergo a background check

  • Must sign a confidentiality agreement

  • Required to take all mandatory trainings if certifications are lacking
