About the event
Our Superhero curriculum is designed to introduce students to the diverse mainstream superheroes we all know and love today. These superheroes range from having different genders, morals, ethnic backgrounds, survival stories, and super powers. We will utilize the unique and individualized story of each superhero and apply it to the everchanging diverse world we live in today. Further, we will tie in our superhero theme to meet the academic needs of our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) curriculum.
Our goal for this camp is to aid in the development of our future leaders. With a hyperfocus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, students will gain a sense of belonging. They will navigate their way through self love and loving others despite their differences.
During the course of the program, students will take on a "superhero" project where they choose an organization to work with, find a problem, create a solution, and ultimately help turn lemons into LEMONADE!
We are serving K-8, (5-8 grade is free aside from the registration fee), sibling discounts availble. Scholarship availability will be announce in April 2023
